A website thoughtfully crafted with Sandvox
I have explored, lived and photographed in the Canadian Rocky Mountains for about 27 years. In this time, I have travelled extensively throughout the region, by car and on foot, to photograph this very special area. My passion for photography and my love for mountains are combined in my work. Inspired by such mountain photography masters as Ansel Adams and Galen Rowell, I seek out landscapes and wildlife to capture both digitally and on film. Although I now primarily shoot digitally with a Canon EOS 5D or Canon 5D mkII slr camera and a variety of Canon lenses, I still occasionally work with medium format cameras such as a Fuji GSW690II camera or a Pentax 6x7 camera. I manage an inventory of over 10,000 high quality images of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. An iMac computer, Adobe Lightroom 3, Photoshop CS5, a variety of Nik and TopazLabs software, Epson v700 scanner and Epson 3880 printer are my tools of choice for working with my images. In my "real" job, I work for Parks Canada, living in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. In my free time, I love to be out in the wild capturing this wonderful region with my camera or working with the images on my Mac computer. Thank-you for visiting my new website.
